Terrific set for Schuricht fans - If you are familiar with this great conductor and appreciate his straight-forward and individual approach you will like this set very much indeed. The performances are good throughout although the sound quality varies and you need to make some allowance for this. I first began to like Schuricht from his Beethoven recordings so I would recommend listening to some of those first and then if you like his approach you will like this set too.Enjoy!
